We are seeking a Building Automation Systems Manager to lead and grow our Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Controls team. (Also known as BAS Controls Manager, HVAC Controls Manager, or Automation Systems Manager.)

This leadership role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, driving long-term business strategy, and fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence. The right candidate will be a team player who thrives on collaboration, growth, and delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the BAS Controls team, including training, performance reviews, and workforce planning.
• Build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to grow profitable backlog and ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and key performance metrics to achieve department goals.
• Partner across departments (Safety, HR, Fleet, Warehousing, Service, and Construction) to ensure companywide standards are met.
• Provide technical and financial oversight for BAS projects, contracts, and service offerings.
• Stay current with BAS technology trends and promote continuous improvement within the group.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the mechanical and plumbing industry (BAS experience preferred).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
• Solid understanding of BAS controls, construction drawings, and project processes.
• Strong financial and project management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Bluebeam experience a plus).
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
