As an HVAC Installer, you will work with our mechanical projects team to complete commercial mechanical equipment change-out, retrofit, and installation projects. Typical projects include installation, replacements, and retrofits of HVAC equipment, VRF, Refrigeration, piping, fiberglass duct board, and other related materials and systems

Specifically, you will:

• Perform installation and setting of equipment as well as running refrigeration and chilled water piping.
• Perform quality fabrication and installation of fiberglass duct board.
• Complete all required documentation
• Maintain inventory control and review ordering needs with leadership
• Keep working areas neat, clean, and tidy
• Complete tasks assigned within time constraints implied by leadership
• Maintain department standards performance in terms of attendance, appearance, performance, acceptance of assignments, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirements
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required

Required:

• At least 1 year of practical HVAC/Refrigeration installation experience
• At least 1 year fabricating and installing fiberglass duct board
• Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to repetitively climb stairs
• Ability to climb and work off of ladders
• Have access to personal hand tools

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• VRF Experience
• EPA Universal level certification
• Knowledgeable in the reading of and working from blueprints and/or drawings
• Refrigeration experience & trade school experience
• Experience in HVAC Controls
• Technical trade school or equivalent experience with an emphasis on HVAC/ Refrigeration
