Plumber - Commercial Service

We are currently seeking an experienced commercial Plumbing Technician to join our team as we provide service to commercial and light industrial customers throughout South Central PA.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • High school diploma or GED is required, trade/technical school, military, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with commercial plumbing equipment and systems
  • Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain various commercial plumbing and drainage systems, water heaters and fixtures
  • Ability to read, understand, and work from schematics, blueprints and cut sheets
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain and recommend appropriate repairs and upgrades to our clients
  • Basic computer skills for tablet and cell phone communication and documentation
  • Ability to provide your own basic hand tools (large/major tools & equipment provided)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee-owner to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee-owner is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee-owner is required to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, squat, crawl; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift equipment, tools, products, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee-owner is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, heights, and confined spaces. The employee-owner is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat. The employee-owner is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
